Eva Kiss, born in the Netherlands, started her voice studies very young, and later followed the courses of Eleonora Poggetti Nycollin at the Conservatory of Annecy (France). After having obtained a Diploma at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique in Geneva, in the classes of Ursula Buckel and Michel Corboz, she continued her studies with William Christie at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris. She participated, under his direction, in numerous productions of Les Arts Florissants, in particular Médée by Marc-Antoine Charpentier (Erato) and the Te Deum of Delalande (for BBC Television). She has sung in chamber music works and oratorios (Bach, Telemann, Vivaldi, Mozart, Haydn, Brahms and Haendel). She teaches at the Conservatory of Annecy.
